The water is as fine as silk, and the scene of gushing down is like a 'white silk', so the name 'Shiraito Falls' is derived.
Next, visit the Karuizawa Kogen Church, a venue for the 'Art Free Education Seminar'. Continue to the Karuizawa Stone Church 'Uchimura Kenzo Memorial Hall', a representative building of the church based on the thoughts of Japanese Christian thinker Uchimura Kenzo. It has a chapel on the ground floor and the Uchimura Kenzo Memorial Hall underground. It was designed by American architect Kendrick Kellogg, with a unique shape of overlapping stone brick and glass arches.
Next, visit Harunire Terrace, a facility based on the concept of daily life in Karuizawa, along the Yukawa River that flows through Karuizawa Town in eastern Nagano Prefecture. It is a place that gathers many unique shops and restaurants. Using more than 100 spring elms that originally grew here, many buildings are connected by wooden pallets, creating a 'small street'.This is a spot where visitors can enjoy shopping and dining in the comfortable climate of Karuizawa, a well-known resort.
Continue to Kumoba Pond, a narrow artificial lake located in Karuizawa Town, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the three major scenic spots in Karuizawa. In the past, swans would come every winter, and it was praised as the 'Swan Lake' by foreigners who came to Karuizawa for sightseeing.
Finally, visit the Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza, located in Karuizawa, one of the most famous summer resorts in Japan.
