10:20-11:00 1st Stop: Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine
The head shrine of over 1,300 Japanese Asama shrines, the core sacred site of Mt.Fuji Shinto culture.
Along the shrine’s approach, you will walk through a tall, straight cedar forest, lined with ancient moss-covered stone lanterns that create a quiet and sacred atmosphere. Within the grounds stands a thousand-year-old sacred cedar tree, honored as a divine symbol of Mt. Fuji. The large silver torii gate inscribed with “Mt. Fuji” marks the entrance to this sacred space, making it one of the most iconic sights here.
11:00-11:20 Transfer to Oishi Park
20-minute short transfer to Kawaguchiko Oishi Park, enjoy roadside scenery along the way.
11:20-12:00 2nd Stop: Kawaguchiko Oishi Park
A famous viewpoint offering unobstructed panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, where the snow-capped peak contrasts beautifully with Lake Kawaguchi. Take postcard-perfect photos and enjoy local specialty ice cream while relaxing by the lake.
