Experience the breathtaking beauty of Japan’s iconic landscapes on a full-day excursion from Shinjuku, Tokyo to the Mount Fuji area. We will take you through some of the most iconic and scenic spots surrounding Mount Fuji—including Lake Kawaguchi, Oishi Park, the 5th Station, and the enchanting village of Oshino Hakkai. Lunch of Yamanashi local cuisine is included within the price.
Meet your guide at Shinjuku West Exit, in front of Shinjuku Island Tower's statue 'LOVE' and set off for a scenic day trip to Mount Fuji. Travel in a luxury vehicle and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountain range and, on clear days, witness the ethereal mystical sea of clouds surrounding the region.
First head to Lake Kawaguchi, enjoy the beautiful lake view that harmonically merged with Mt. Fuji. Lake Kawaguchi is a serene body of water that also offer postcard-worthy views of the renowned icon of JapanーMount Fuji. Then take a ride on panoramic ropeway to discover majestic landscape of the lake and Mount Fuji.
Next, arrive at Oishi Park for its colourful flower gardens, presenting a different display for every season. Marvel at the vibrant cherry blossoms in spring (late March ~ early April), unending field of violet and smell the dreamy lavender during summer (late June~ late July), bright red Kochia perched all over the park in autumn (mid ~ late October), and tranquil snowy landscape in winter.
Enjoy the local cuisine for lunch and rest for about 60 minutes.
In the afternoon, the journey moves on to Mount Fuji's 5th Station, located at 2,300 meters above sea level. Visitors can enjoy coffee or freshly baked melon bread while admiring the breathtaking views of Mount Fuji’s peak. This is one of the closest accessible points to feel the majestic beauty of Japan’s iconic world cultural heritage.
The final stop is Oshino Hakkai, a picturesque village known for its eight crystal-clear sacred spring ponds formed by volcanic eruptions. Rich in minerals and surrounded by traditional houses, it's a scene straight out of a fairy tale.
The tour concludes with a relaxing return to Shinjuku, bringing a memorable day of nature, culture, and scenic beauty to a perfect close.
