Exact pickup time will be sent by email or WhatsApp the day before departure. -- Nikko Toshogu Shrine (approx. 120 min, admission not included) -- Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Nikko Toshogu Shrine, the most lavishly decorated shrine in Japan, dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Marvel at the exquisite wood carvings, dazzling gold-leaf ornaments and historic cultural treasures that represent the pinnacle of Edo-period craftsmanship. Highlights include the famous 'Three Wise Monkeys' (see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil) and the iconic 'Sleeping Cat' carving. Lunch is not included — please eat at one of the many local restaurants near the shrine. -- Lake Chuzenji & Kegon Falls (approx. 60 min) -- Drive up the famous Irohazaka mountain road, a scenic route with 48 hairpin curves that offers stunning views in every season — fresh greenery in spring, cool shade in summer, fiery maples in autumn and snow-covered landscapes in winter. Arrive at Lake Chuzenji, Japan's highest volcanic lake at 1,269 m elevation, where crystal-clear waters mirror the majestic Mount Nantai. Continue to Kegon Falls, one of Japan's Three Great Waterfalls, plunging 97 meters into a forested gorge. The observation deck at the top offers a free panoramic view.
