Your day begins with a scenic two-hour drive from Tokyo to the Fuji Five Lakes area. Along the way, enjoy countryside views while your guide shares stories about the region’s history and the mountain’s spiritual meaning.
Visit Mt. Fuji 5th Station, the closest point accessible by vehicle, and enjoy breathtaking mountain views. Continue to Arakurayama Sengen Park, where the famous red pagoda frames Mount Fuji for one of Japan’s most iconic photos. At Lake Yamanaka, take a relaxing walk along the shore before heading to Oshino Hakkai, a charming village with crystal-clear ponds and traditional thatched houses.
Next, explore the Narusawa Ice Cave, a natural lava cave that stays icy all year round. Entrance tickets are not included and can be purchased locally.
If time allows, you may visit optional sites such as Oishi Park, Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba (ticket required), Gotemba Premium Outlets, Owakudani Valley (ropeway ticket not included), or Lake Ashi (boat ride optional). These stops depend on weather, traffic, and available time within the 10-hour tour limit.
For lunch, stop at a local restaurant near Mount Fuji serving regional dishes made with fresh mountain ingredients. Lunch is not included in the tour price and is paid directly at the restaurant. You may also bring your own snacks or packed meal if preferred.
This tour is designed for comfort and flexibility, allowing you to travel at your own pace while ensuring an on-time return. The total duration is up to 10 hours, including round-trip travel between Tokyo and the Mount Fuji area. The driver may adjust the route or shorten visits based on traffic or time.
After a full day of nature and culture, relax on the return drive to Tokyo, arriving at your pickup point by evening.
