Description
Located in the center of Tokyo, Tokyo Tower is one of the city's most iconic landmarks, built in 1958. Located near the JR line station, Hamamatsucho, it's convenient to get to from anywhere in the city.
The tower has a large observation deck (Main Deck) at 490 feet and a special observation deck(Summit Access by Top Deck Tour) at 820 feet. It offers panoramic views of the city and even Mount Fuji on sunny days. In addition to the entrance of the observatory, there is also a variety of souvenirs available for purchase.
The tower's bright red color makes it stand out from nearby buildings during the day and beautiful light-scapes at night make this landmark a truly breathtaking sight 24/7. You also see stylish light concepts and wicked views, making for outstanding scenery night and day.
The lighting concept is designed by the world-famous lighting designer Ishii Motoko, and the lighting time is between sunset and midnight. The color of the light changes in the seasons: burning bright white in the summer, and orange in the spring, autumn, and winter.
