Description

In this hands-on experience, participants learn how to make zōri sandals under the guidance of a skilled craftsman. The course includes a brief introduction to the history of zōri, an explanation of the tools, and a live demonstration of the traditional technique. ■ Schedule on the Day We will guide you at the reception desk. An apron will be provided for you. You will select your zōri and straps. (The completed zōri can be taken home.) Additional fees may apply depending on the zōri and straps you choose. The experience takes approximately 60 minutes.
