The hotel is great overall, especially the location as it is conveniently located and easy access to everything. The room is sufficient with all the basic amenities. The size of the room is bigger than I expected. We were able to have a few suitcase open without feeling cramped.

Wonderful and very affordable hotel in Ueno. Rooms are small by US standards but big enough and excellent for the middle of Tokyo. Everything was clean, we loved the public baths (with saunas and large well-amenitied changing/resting rooms) so much that we ended up liking them better than some expensive Ryokan Onsens in rural Japan. Will definitely return to this hotel next time in Tokyo. Staff speaks English

Fantastic Location and Surprisingly Spacious Rooms Had a great stay at Centurion Hotel & Spa Ueno Station. The absolute highlight for me was the location — it’s literally just across the road from JR Ueno Station and the Keisei Skyliner terminal, so getting in and out of Narita was incredibly easy and stress‑free. You can’t beat that convenience. The twin room was also a pleasant surprise. It was very spacious, with a queen bed plus a bunk bed, making it a great option for families or small groups. Plenty of room to move around, which isn’t always the case in Tokyo. The spa facilities were a nice bonus and perfect for relaxing after a full day of walking around the city. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a super convenient and comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Would definitely stay again.

The nicest hotel we stayed on our trip! Great location and wonderful amenities (tattoo friendly rooftop onsen). Got to do some laundry (all-in-one wash/dryer) Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. They have a scale next to the front desk which we thought was helpful to check the weight of our luggage. Friendly staff. Front desk helped with sending our luggages to Narita airport. This hotel made our next hotel look shabby 🤣 we would LOVE to stay there again if we visit Osaka again. Highly recommend!!

I used it just for the sauna. You can choose either 1 hour (¥1,400) or 2 hours (¥1,800) at the front desk. They will then give you the locker key and two towels (small face towel and bigger towel). There were 12 lockers for visitors; 4 showers with doors for privacy. 41 degree hot bath and 10 degree cold bath. And one sauna around 100 degrees with some herbal scent which was relaxing. It has a tv one in the sauna room and one outside in front of the hot bath there are two relaxing seats in the bathing area and three in the changing space. A bit of a tight space but it’s also not too crowded so it’s good enough. They have lots of amenities and hair driers, curlers and straighteners also. Convenient spot for a quick sauna.
