It’s our first time in Japan, come from Montréal with my family (4). We love staying at this hotel. Specially with the check in station, it’s fast and efficient! I have Never seen that before, I love it ! Staff are very kind. I will recommend for everyone. I love that we can connect to the shopping mall and the spa. They have also a laundry machine that we can use with Suica card
Staying at Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake was a really convenient choice for this part of Tokyo. I liked being connected to the mall and spa, which made everything feel easy during the stay. The English support was reassuring too, and the staff using translation devices made communication simple. It felt especially practical for international travelers, and I’d happily stay here again.
I stayed at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake from May 14–19, and it was the very first hotel I stayed at during my trip to Japan. From the moment I arrived, I had a wonderful experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and throughout my stay, housekeeping was excellent. Every time we left the room and returned, we were greeted with fresh linens, clean towels, and emptied trash bins. The hotel was always spotless and well-maintained. One thing I absolutely loved was that the hotel is connected to a mall, which made shopping, dining, and grabbing anything we needed incredibly convenient. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, with a great variety of options each morning. What I want to highlight most, however, is the staff. I’m from Texas in the United States, and I do not speak Japanese fluently. On the day of checkout, I wanted to forward my luggage to my next hotel. While verifying my reservation, the receptionist discovered that my next hotel booking had accidentally been made for only one adult instead of two. I was embarrassed and stressed because I hadn’t noticed the mistake. I tried calling the next hotel myself, but no one at their front desk spoke English. The receptionist at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake noticed my frustration while I was trying to sort everything out. Without hesitation, he stopped what he was doing, offered to help, and personally called the next hotel on my behalf. He translated the entire conversation, confirmed the additional cost, explained the situation to the other hotel staff, and even conveyed our apologies for the inconvenience. Thanks to his kindness and willingness to help, everything was resolved quickly and smoothly. He absolutely did not have to go above and beyond in that way, but he did. As someone traveling in a country where I don’t speak the language, that gesture meant so much to me and truly warmed my heart. The hospitality I experienced here is something I will never forget. Thank you to the entire staff for making my first stay in Japan such a memorable one. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo.
Hotel is very convenient, with a mall attached and Lawsons close by. Ariake is beautiful with wide open spaces and well designed sidewalks. It was easy to order on amazon.jp and pick up from the reception. Room was well appointed with water boiler and a mini fridge and a bath tub. You can pick up toothbrushes, paste, tea packets, creamers etc at the hotel lobby any time of the day. The only downside was that the coffee packets they had were not very strong, easily fixed by going to the BioRel store in the adjoining mall on Lsvel 2. Picked up a box of excellent organic Mt. Hagen coffee packets which sufficed for my stay.
