If you have not been here, you missed an important page of Japanese history. This is Japan's first bar!!! The food is remarkable and the alcohol takes you back in time. I will be here many times again because it is so worth it. Much better than many of the drinking places around here, and those are already excellent hangouts. Remember to order the beer and Denki Bran (a kind of their special vermouth) pair. The sausages are excellent too. The sirloin steak will give you a sense of early Japanese-Western contact. It may well be an impression of the culinary imagination in the era the place was established. And by the way, this building is a historical landmark that is rarely advertised.
Nice bar with lovely food. The staff are super friendly, the place has a history.
