Lovely room, would stay here again. LOVED the onsen. Quiet and clean rooms. Good breakfast but didn’t get to try the complimentary Ramen as I didn’t need more food after my first dinner! Used the airport limousine from Asakusa View Hotel to get back to the airport. This was so easy. Two minute walk, no steps/ stairs. Booked through klook.
The hotel is strategically located near Sensoji Temple and is surrounded by many small eateries. Since breakfast is ¥2,500 per person, we have decided to eat out instead. Our room is a double with two double beds and is more spacious than typical Japanese hotel rooms. The layout is convenient, featuring a separate bathroom and toilet, and a living area partitioned from the entrance. The onsen baths are gender-separated, and we were provided with individual entry codes. Please note that you must bring your own towel from your room when visiting the baths. Overall, the hotel is very nice and clean. Upon entry, guests are required to store their shoes in a locker. They also provide slippers and pajamas, which is a lovely Japanese touch. Additionally, you are allowed to store your luggage if you arrive before check-in or after check-out, provided you collect it on the same day.
This hotel is in fantastic location right next to a shopping street. If you enjoy the charms of Asakusa but want to avoid too mant crowds, this hotel is a fantastic choice. The rooms are very clean and the onsen is quite relaxing. Breakfast meal here is fantastic and you can get soba in the evenings, or some ice cream after your onsen bath. Rooms are quiet and we'll maintained. I've stayed here twice and they always leave a complimentary snack and water for you. The only downsides for this hotel are: - since they require guests to take shoes off, if the hotel is packed all the lockers might be used and you're forced to bag your shoes and take them to your room - it's a bit of a walk to the closest station
The rooms are a bit small but for Tokyo and the price paid it's quite good value. The breakfast is really good every day, fresh fruit, pastries and traditional Japanese breakfast items all served buffet style. The onsen is a real highlight, I have tattoos and didn't have a problem in there for the 5 nights I stayed. The rules say no tattoos but there are lots of westerners and Japanese people using the facilities with tattoos. The free ice cream afterwards is a nice addition! It's right in Asakusa which had plenty of food options around and is only 2 minute walk from the Senso-ji temple and 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro stations. Overall pretty good. The novelty of taking your shoes off wears pretty thin quite quick when all the show lockers are full!
This is an amazing Japanese-style hotel located in Asakusa. First, guests can experience a traditional Japanese tatami-style hotel. Every time you enter the hotel, you are required to remove your shoes and walk on tatami flooring, which is completely different from a typical Western-style hotel. Second, if you stay on a higher floor, you can enjoy views of both Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo Skytree. The scenery is beautiful during the day as well as at night, each offering its own unique charm. The location is also excellent—only a 5 to 10-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple and about a 15-minute walk to Asakusa Station. In addition, the hotel facilities are fantastic. Breakfast offers an all-you-can-eat Japanese-style salmon roe and tuna rice bowl, allowing guests to serve themselves as much as they like. On the first basement floor, there is a large public bath where you can experience a traditional Japanese onsen. The unique black hot spring water is perfect for relaxing after a full day of sightseeing. After bathing, guests can enjoy complimentary ice cream in the evening or Yakult in the morning. There is also free ramen served every night at 9:30 PM. I stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Asakusa.
