Nice Japan Ginza decor — high-end conveyor belt sushi decoration. Sushi selection are great, Sushi is fresh and sweet. It’s famous for tuna and uni are all great. Seems also very popular restaurant for tourists and many staff understands English. No advance booking available, so remember to come a bit earlier, because it usually has a line up at the entrance.

The quality of the ingredients served here is far superior to typical conveyor belt sushi restaurants, which explains the higher price point. Overall, everything was delicious — especially the shellfish and the maguro. Definitely worth it.

It’s not a fancy place but I still give 5 star for it. Location is perfect, I always come here early to avoid the line later. When during peak hour, prepare to wait for an hour. Food was great, of course I don’t compare it with famous sushi restaurant but it’s definitely worth the price. You have a big variety of tuna, uni, shrimp, shell fish, silver skin fish etc. The akami, chu toro and otoro plate is a must. Can’t explain how much I love this place.

This was the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life and truly one of the highlights of our trip that we had to come back for a second time before we left. Ever since our trip ended, sometimes I feel devastated that I can’t eat this whenever I want lol nothing I’ve had at home compares to the fish in Japan. We had to wait for about 10-20 mins both times we went and we went at around 8:30-9pm. The fish was so fresh and the rice was perfect. I also really liked how each piece of fish was customizable (amount of rice, with or without wasabi, etc.). It was pretty expensive, we paid around $80-100 cad per person, but to me it was very worth it and I’d probably come a few times a month if I could. This place also converted me to a tuna lover. Also really loved the self serve hot water and matcha! It was a really fun atmosphere and experience. Some of our favourites were the medium fatty tuna and torched miso salmon with green onion.

Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera HONTEN – Premium Sushi Worth the Wait We arrived before opening to get a queue number, and there were already many tourists waiting. It’s clearly a popular spot. The standout for me was the chutoro sushi — absolutely memorable and my favorite of the meal. The uni is also a must-try, and the scallops (hotate) were excellent. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality is definitely premium and matches the cost. Ordering through the tablet was very convenient, and the sushi was freshly made with a short wait time. I was really impressed and would love to come back — though the line is quite intense! If not this branch, I’d happily try another location, but this one is truly worth experiencing at least once.
