Here’s a polished review you can post: Gyukatsu Motomura Harajuku was easily one of the best places I ate during my trip to Tokyo. The gyukatsu was outstanding—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavour. Being able to grill each piece to your preferred doneness at the table made the experience even better. Every part of the meal felt carefully prepared, from the beef itself to the rice, miso soup, and accompaniments. What really stood out, however, was the customer service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout the entire visit. Despite the restaurant being busy, they took the time to explain how everything worked and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. The combination of exceptional food and excellent hospitality made this one of the highlights of my time in Tokyo. I would happily return on my next visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal in the city.

Nice and quiet. The food was very delicious and the service was great. Even with only one menu, everything was worth it. I’m happy I came here

Visited this hidden gem just after 8:30pm on a Saturday night. Only waited 5 minutes and they took my order while I was in the queue so my meal arrived a few minutes after I sat down. I ordered the regular size (one and a half) beef cutlet set with 3 side dishes. I mean, daaaaamn. The beef cutlet was exceptional. Perfectly seasoned and lightly crumbed. Melt in your mouth. For 2810 yen, it was exceptional value. Service was excellent. My server was Haruki and he was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back of I'm in the area.

Amazing experience at Gyukatsu Motomura (WITH Harajuku branch). The gyukatsu was absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside. Being able to grill the beef to your preferred doneness on the hot stone made it even more fun and interactive. The quality of the meat was excellent, and every bite was satisfying. The set meal was well-balanced with rice, miso soup, and sides that complemented the main dish perfectly. Service was efficient and the staff were polite, creating a smooth and enjoyable dining experience even during busy hours. Definitely one of the best meals I had in Tokyo. Highly recommend!
