Our first meal after a long travel day from California. Tuna sashimi bowl and cold Asahi beers were the perfect welcome meal. Delicious! Very kind, friendly service too!

Best sushi we’ve tried in the area! Walked in 30 mins before they closed and ordered as much as we could. Every dish tasted fresh and chefs were very friendly. Great service and quality. Can’t wait to come back again.

I always come back to this restaurant whenever I stay in Asakusa. The quality and flavor have remained consistently excellent since my very first visit, and the service is just as warm and attentive as I remember. They serve truly authentic Japanese sushi, and it is an experience I highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy original sushi done right. Oishii! 👌🏻

As a person who doesn't like sushi a lot (I have tried once in my country but I didn't like the taste and texture), my dining experience here made me want to try again. Food was really good and fresh that we had to come back the next day (one of the staff/owner(?) remembered us from the previous day and gave us charms!! That was very nice of him, too!) Thank you so much for the amazing experience! Highly recommended!

Sushi Edomaru Asakusa delivered one of the most memorable sushi meals I’ve had in Tokyo. From the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and authentically Japanese. The chefs worked right in front of us with precision and calm confidence, creating an experience that was as enjoyable to watch as it was to taste. Every piece of sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully balanced, and prepared with great care. The highlight was definitely their premium selection—the toro melted instantly, the uni was creamy and sweet without any brininess, and the anago was tender with just the right touch of sauce. Even the simpler pieces like tamago and salmon showed off the chef’s skill in texture and flavor. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready with recommendations. They took the time to explain each piece, making the meal feel personal and thoughtfully curated. The pacing was perfect too—never rushed, never slow. The price felt extremely fair for the quality and craftsmanship delivered. Whether you’re stopping by Asakusa for sightseeing or looking for a reliable sushi spot away from the hectic crowds, Sushi Edomaru is absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates top-quality sushi with genuine hospitality. I will definitely return on my next trip to Asakusa!
