Description

Leave the busy streets of Tokyo behind and begin a journey toward one of Japan’s most breathtaking landscapes — Mount Fuji. As the city slowly fades into forests, lakes, and quiet countryside, the iconic silhouette of Fuji appears on the horizon. Rising gracefully above the surrounding land, Mount Fuji has inspired travelers, artists, and pilgrims for centuries. For many visitors to Japan, seeing Fuji for the first time becomes one of the most unforgettable moments of their trip. This private day trip from Tokyo lasts approximately 10–11 hours including travel time, giving you the freedom to explore the region at a comfortable pace. Unlike crowded group tours with strict schedules, this experience is fully customizable. You may choose to focus on the Mount Fuji area, explore the natural beauty of Hakone, or combine highlights from both regions depending on your interests and the time available. Your driver will help organize the route so you can enjoy the most scenic viewpoints and photo locations without feeling rushed. ⸻ Mount Fuji Area Highlights The Fuji Five Lakes region offers some of the most beautiful scenery in Japan, surrounded by peaceful lakes, traditional villages, and iconic viewpoints. Possible stops include: • Mount Fuji 5th Station – Enjoy views from halfway up Japan’s highest mountain. • Chureito Pagoda – One of Japan’s most famous photo spots with Fuji rising behind the pagoda. • Oshino Hakkai Village – A traditional village known for its clear spring ponds. • Lake Kawaguchiko – A peaceful lake offering stunning Fuji reflections on clear days. • Oishi Park – A scenic lakeside park famous for seasonal flowers and Fuji views. • Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Village (Optional) – A reconstructed village with traditional thatched houses. • Honcho Street Fujiyoshida (Optional) – A unique street offering dramatic Mount Fuji photos. • Gotemba Premium Outlets (Optional) – One of Japan’s largest outlet malls with Fuji views. ⸻ Hakone Scenic Experience Hakone offers a different landscape shaped by volcanic activity and surrounded by mountains. Possible stops include: • Lake Ashi – A beautiful crater lake with views of Mount Fuji on clear days. • Hakone Shrine – A historic lakeside shrine with its famous torii gate in the water. • Owakudani Valley – A volcanic valley with steaming vents and dramatic scenery. • Hakone Ropeway – Enjoy aerial views above the valley and surrounding mountains. • Hakone Open-Air Museum – A unique museum where art blends with nature. Because the tour lasts 10–11 hours, the itinerary can be adjusted based on your interests, traffic, and weather conditions. Some travelers prefer exploring only the Mount Fuji region, while others enjoy combining Fuji’s iconic scenery with Hakone’s volcanic landscapes. This private experience offers a flexible, comfortable, and unforgettable way to discover Japan’s natural beauty beyond Tokyo.
