Description

Discover Mt. Fuji your way! Leave the buzz of Tokyo behind and choose from two scenic routes—one packed with iconic photo spots, the other filled with serene nature escapes. [Course A – Highlight Photo Spots] ⦁ Arakurayama Sengen Park / Honcho Street – (1H40M) ⦁ Lawson Fujikawaguchiko – 15mins ⦁ Lake Kawaguchi & Oishi Park – 40mins ⦁ Shiraito Waterfall (with simple lunch break) – 50mins ⦁ Obuchi Sasaba – 40mins This route is made for photography lovers and those who want the “classic Mt. Fuji shot.” Begin at Arakurayama Sengen Park, where the five-story Chureito Pagoda perfectly frames Mt. Fuji—a view seen on countless postcards. Wander the nostalgic Shimoyoshida Honcho Street with its retro charm and overhead Fuji views. Next, capture the reflections of Japan’s most famous mountain at Lake Kawaguchi and the colorful flowerbeds of Oishi Park. Enjoy a short break at the majestic Shiraito Waterfall, known for its cascading white streams and cool mist, before heading to Obuchi Sasaba, a lush tea plantation where rolling green fields meet the distant snowcapped peak. [Course C – Signature Scenic Spots] ⦁ Arakurayama Sengen Park / Honcho Street – (1H30M) ⦁ Lawson Fujikawaguchiko – 30mins ⦁ Mt. Fuji Museum / Opt Macha Cafe - 1H (In Nov, Mt. Fuji Museum will replaced by Kawaguchi Autumn Leaves Corridor) ⦁ Oshino Hakkai – 1H ⦁ Lake Yamanaka / Hirano Beach – 1H Enjoy first clear view of Mt. Fuji rising in the distance at Lawson Fujikawaguchiko Town Hall, then head to Arakurayama Sengen Park, home to the iconic five-storied pagoda and stroll down the nostalgic Honcho Street lined with local shops and eateries. Then, visit Mt. Fuji Museum, an interactive facility offering insight into the mountain’s culture and geology or optionally visit a nearby Matcha café instead. (In Nov this spot will be replaced by Kawaguchi Autumn Leaves Corridor). Next, explore the peaceful village of Oshino Hakkai known for its eight crystal-clear spring ponds. Finally, unwind with a relaxing lakeside walk along Lake Yamanaka and Hirano Beach, taking in expansive views of Mt. Fuji mirrored in calm waters.
