Please check both this email and the voucher you receive, and refer to the sumo stable listed on the voucher. The automatic voucher and account page are samples only. Check-in starts at the meeting time; if you arrive early, do not ring the doorbell or enter. For assistance, please call the number provided in your confirmation email. Thank you for your understanding—please proceed with your booking if you agree. Sumo wrestling is Japan's highly popular national sport with a long tradition. In this activity participants get to see the training of active, professional wrestlers and get the chance to take a group picture with them in the end. Usually most people only get to see Sumo athletes from far away during a tournament; however, with a visit to a Sumo stables you'll get to witness the action up close. You'll have a greater understanding of this traditional sport and an experience to remember at the end of your visit. 【You can optionally choose a one-way transfer from hotel】 Please indicate in the remarks the hotel where you will be staying and provide us with a mobile number in Japan that we can contact you on the day before your participation date. *Pick-up must be within Tokyo's 23 wards. *Maximum number of passengers is 4. *Drivers are Japanese-speaking and do not speak English. *Hotels without a front desk are not acceptable for pick-up. Please send us your hotel information by e-mail after making a reservation (name of hotel, check-in date, and name of person making reservation). Pick-up time will be notified by e-mail at least one day in advance. If you do not show up 10 minutes after the pick-up time, it will be considered as a waiver.

Important Information

The meeting time and location depends on the day and will be decided about 3 days before the scheduled date. Specific location requests cannot be accommodated. All Sumo stables are within Tokyo. Entering the stable is only allowed with the guide. The schedule might be subject to changes, depending on the wrestlers' condition. Normally, the training sessions last about 60 minutes. During the Tokyo Grand Sumo Tournaments (held in January, May, and September), the sessions will last only about 30 minutes. Please note that no refunds will be given for the shorter duration. Participants may leave earlier, but in that case, will not receive a group picture. Talking loudly and making noises is prohibited, and phones must be switched into silent mode. Flash photography is forbidden, and videos may only be taken with prior permission.
