Start your morning with a visit to Kasugataisha Shrine, where thousands of lanterns create a mystical atmosphere. Then, visit nearby Todai-ji Temple with the magnificent Great Buddha and head to Nara Park, known for its vast green spaces historical temples and freely roaming deer. After that, explore the elegant Byodoin Temple, featured on the Japanese 10-yen coin, and take a relaxing stroll (and lunch) through Uji Omotesando, a traditional street famous for its matcha sweets.
