It's been designed to provide a complete experience, combining history, spirituality, and the daily pulse of the city. Perfect for those who want to discover some of the most iconic places in a quiet and enriching day. ⸻ 1️⃣ Senso-ji Temple / Nakamise Street and Asakusa Viewpoint We'll start in Asakusa, one of Tokyo's most traditional areas. We'll visit the Sensō-ji temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in the city, stroll along Nakamise Street, lined with typical shops and local snacks, and enjoy the views from the Asakusa viewpoint, with a beautiful perspective of the neighborhood and the Sumida River. 2️⃣ Option: Ueno or Akihabara area ⚡ Next, you can choose between two different experiences: • Ueno, known for its large park and for preserving a historic and serene atmosphere. We'll visit some of its temples and shrines, ideal for a leisurely stroll to appreciate the spiritual side of the city. • Akihabara, a characteristic area of Tokyo, known for its electronics, manga, and figurine stores. It's a curious and different neighborhood, where you can see a simpler and more everyday side of Japanese culture. 3️⃣ Cathedral of Santa Maria (Architecture by Kenzo Tange) ⛪ We'll continue to the Cathedral of Santa Maria, designed by the architect Kenzo Tange. Its wing-shaped metal structure symbolizes elevation and purity, making it one of the most prominent churches in the country. 4️⃣ Chinzansō Gardens Then we'll visit the Chinzansō Gardens, a green and quiet space in the heart of Tokyo. With stone lanterns, ponds, and small temples, this garden offers a serene and contemplative atmosphere. 5️⃣ Shinjuku – Godzilla and the 3D Cat ️ Then we'll explore Shinjuku, a lively district with bustling streets and iconic lights. Here, you'll see Godzilla's head on the Toho building and the 3D Cat, two well-known and curious spots in the neighborhood. 6️⃣ Shibuya Crossing and Hachikō Statue To end the day, we'll visit the famous Shibuya crossing, one of the most recognizable in the world. Nearby is the statue of Hachikō, a symbol of loyalty and affection, where we'll wrap up the tour. ⸻ ✨ End of the tour ✨ A day dedicated to discovering the essence of Tokyo — its temples, gardens, iconic neighborhoods, and the city's daily life — traveling like the locals, on public transport.
