Description
Discover the secrets of gut-friendly Japanese superfoods in a 2-hour class in Tokyo. Learn about the history, food culture, and health benefits of fermented foods from a certified instructor.
Enjoy this unique class in the very convenient location (10 mins from Shibuya Station via Ginza Line). Discover amazake, a traditional fermented sweet drink that has long been enjoyed in Japan as a way to stay energized during the hot summer months.
We also use Sakekasu (sake lees), which is also good for health and rare to try for visitors (Note that sakekasu contains around 8% of alcohol. It can be switched to banana for those under 19 or those who prefer to avoid alcohol with prior notice.)
The class is just 2 hours long, making it perfect even for busy travelers.
Fermented foods are so specialized that very few classes exist, making this a one-of-a-kind experience. And this is a vegan class.
