Under Japanese law, we cannot accept any unofficial or counterfeit 1949 IDP.) • Some countries are not part of the 1949 Geneva Convention, so please double-check your eligibility by visiting the official Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) website. 2. Official JAF Japanese Translation + Passport. • For driver's licenses from Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Monaco, and Taiwan ONLY. • Translation must be issued in any JAF OFFICE.
