If there's any kind of festival happening around the Asakusa area, hotel prices will be much higher than usual, so plan your trip wisely. We booked this hotel to experience the Sumida River, and overall it was a fascinating experience, especially the fireworks, and the people there were great. The staff's service was also good, they were fast and easy to understand. The room was comfortable, and we had a good sleep there. The parking process also convenient, the staff guide us very well.

A five-star stay that met all our expectations. The hotel was clean and tidy, reasonably priced, and in a great location. The breakfast was good, with enough variety to start the day. The rooms are quite large by Tokyo standards, which was a big plus. We travelled as a family and had plenty of space without feeling like we were on top of each other. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this is a great value hotel in a convenient location, and we’d happily stay here again.

Stated here for 1 night. Perfect hotel for singles/couples, more then that and its a real tight fit. The location is prime; next to asakusa station, 7/11 is downstairs, very close to sensoji temple and nakamise Street and close to a plethora of restaurants and shops. The room is small but has everything you need. I had an amazing view of the river. The staff were very helpful, checkin was quick and storing luggage was easy.

We stayed at Tobu in March 2026. It's in a very good location, lots of shops downstairs, and short walk to 3 subway stations. We stayed in a corner unit with 3 beds, and it's very spacious. There are 2 sinks, one in the toilet, and one in the common area, very convenient. The beds are comfortable, and lots of storage under the beds. Buffet breakfast is great, lots of choices. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely fantastic—you’re steps away from convenience stores and great restaurants, plus having direct access to the subway made getting around so easy. Asakusa is an amazing neighborhood to stay in, and the Tobu Hotel is by far the most convenient choice in the area!
