Small hotel but spacious room, quiet floor and efficient lift. Short walk from shin okubo station, abt 15 mins walk to Kabuki cho in Shinjuku. Surrounded by lots and lots of cheap, good and diversed eateries.

Perfect place to stay! Affordable, clean, and close to a 711. Room was surprisingly spacious for just me. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend

As a global traveler I do try to stay on a budget. While we are efficiently within the center of Shinjuku we are also well under other local hotel prices. My kind of deal! For location, you are within a five minute walk of pretty much everything you'll want to see here in Shinjuku. The train station is only 5 minutes walk as well. It's off the main path just enough to have quiet when appropriate. You are pretty centered in a common Korean food area. You'll want to walk a bit to get to true Japanese food. But we are still talking 5 minutes max. There are a few smaller good vibes restaurants on the same street within eyesight. A nice new all white desert spot that seems to host a 90% female vibe. There are several small convenience stores within 5 minutes as well for late night snacks. I would say that for the price we got an amazing location. This hotel does have an elevator. As for the room itself.... It was very clean. And if wanted they will clean it up daily. It was more spacious than any other local hotel for sure. In a double room you get two twin beds. Both firm. Full bedding. And one end table between the two. A coffee maker and some glass cups. A desk with a 35" tv with about 7 channels. A mini fridge under the desk. 3 outlets. There is no dresser or closet only a spot with 5 hooks and some hangers. Be prepared to live out of your luggage. We didn't mind. You have individual control over head and ac. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. Absolutely loved the deep soaker tub. Needed after 12 miles a day walking. Also... Seems like they have unlimited hot water somehow. My son and I never lost hot water even when bathing right after one another. Super win there. While there is no microwave in the room, the lobby has two for use. I would say the price was amazing due to the room size. As for the staff... Amazing, courteous and always happy. We saw a total of about 6 different front desk people. All with English ability that was limited but enough to be comfortable. Their ability and willingness to he nice was a big thing for me. Esp with no Japanese language skills whatsoever. Something I didn't know.... In Japan when you leave your room you leave your key with the front desk. Be prepared for that. This stay was well above what I was expecting for the price i paid.. when visiting Japan again, I will certainly check availability here before anywhere else. To sum it up, if location and room space are your priority at a really good price, I'd recommend this place. If you need a beautiful lobby and amenities like you're living 5 stars you'll probably pay a lot more somewhere else and be cramped. I'd highly recommend you take the chance with this wonderful spot. Save some money and use it while you're out and about. Good job Best Hotel. You are doing great!

This was the cheapest non-capsule hotel I could find in shibuya/shinjuku and it did what I needed it to do. No frills, but everything you need in a great location. Bed is not the most comfortable, but I’ve found that to be true in all hotels I’ve stayed in in Japan. Reception was always helpful, giving us extra towels, etc.
