The rooms were small but normal size for Tokyo for the price so I was not disappointed. The staff were very polite and helpful and the location was great. Fairly quiet neighborhood but close to many central spots and walking distance to Tokyo Tower. The hotel was well furnished and had a lounge available to guest 24hrs a day. I had a great stay.

Exceptional Service & Genuine Care – A Supreme Experience I had a truly outstanding stay at Hotel The Celestine Tokyo Shiba. The service here is world-class—polite, proactive, and deeply caring. I want to personally commend the front desk team, especially two staff members who went above and beyond: • Shimada San: After I had checked out and was already far from the hotel, I realized I had lost my wedding ring. Shimada San was incredibly helpful, searching every single corner of the property in detail to assist me. Her dedication in such a stressful situation was remarkable. • Manami Fukuro San: When I returned a day later needing a formal letter for a travel insurance claim, she handled it immediately and professionally, allowing me to process my report without any delay. Beyond individual assistance, the hotel's general management is seamless. We left for a 2-day local tour and stored most of our luggage at the hotel. We returned late at night to check into a different room, and were so touched to find that the staff had already moved all of our luggage into our new room. After a long day of travel, this level of thoughtfulness was exactly what we needed. The hotel amenities are also top-tier. The 14F guest lounge is a highlight, offering free wine and snacks with a surprisingly relaxing outdoor seating area. If you are looking for a hotel that combines high-end comfort with staff who genuinely care about their guests, this is it. Highly recommended!

It’s my first time in Tokyo, and we chose this hotel because it’s near Tokyo Tower. It was a 10-minute walk to the tower, but you could see the view immediately, and it’s only a 2-minute walk to Shibakoen Station. The location was perfect, and we loved how peaceful the area was. The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly. We tried the lunch menu at their restaurant and it was definitely worth it. We are thinking of coming back again. All the amenities were clean and well-maintained as well.

Great hotel with incredible staff. Every personnel was there to help and serve you. Makes you feel like royalty. Room was a good size for Japan with awesome views. Variety store across the street for late night amenities. They have a restaurant and a bar on site. I found the restaurant a little expensive though, about 38 dollars for breakfast pp. They have a lounge on the 14th floor where there is free coffee juice and tea in the morning which I found very helpful. And free beer and wine between 5pm and 8pm. The area is full of little authentic restaurant and shops. When back in Japan I will be staying here again

The service staff are amazing but the food was not great. The rooms are comfortable but fairly dated at this point. In general it feels like an older version of what a five star hotel is. In general I’d rather have better food than have someone open the elevator for me, or have paid massages available in my room. But again, everyone who works there is lovely and they all do an amazing job.
