Reviews
We topped and tailed our trip staying at Quintessa Hotel in Tokyo and the hotel was kind enough to store some luggage for us for the length of time we were travelling around Japan. The service is very good, and staff are very helpful. Rooms aren't huge, but it's Tokyo so this is expected. A really good location close to some amazing restaurants in Ginza. If we come back to Tokyo and stay in Ginza again, I would pick this hotel again.
The room was spacious and felt clean and modern, which made relaxing after a busy day very easy. The staff were friendly and attentive. The neighborhood offered a lively atmosphere thanks to the numerous izakayas nearby, giving the area a genuine sense of character. I arrived early and was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the check in process went, with the front desk staff accommodating my schedule and getting me into my room promptly.
The hotel is in a great location, right in the city center. There’s also a nearby street with a variety of restaurants. The hotel itself is a bit small—the lobby is on the second floor, and both the rooms and bathrooms are compact, following typical Japanese or Asian standards. The beds are also on the smaller side. It’s a bit pricey, but considering its prime location in Tokyo, it’s understandable. It is also near Ginza high end shopping district.
This was the first hotel I stayed in for my trip. I want to thank the staff who who worked in the morning for being so helpful through my stay. Not only did she help with the luggage forwarding but she even called the next hotel to make sure they accept deliveries. The only hotel that I stayed in that did that. Another great part was that since our room was ready they allowed us to leave our luggage in the room at about 6-7am which was super helpful after an overnight flight . The room sizes are typically what you’ll find in Tokyo. You’ll have enough space to open one big luggage. The room itself is clean and so is the bathroom so no complaints at all. Plenty of amenities to grab in the reception area. WiFi was good. Did wish they had a smart TV but that is a non issue. For the price I paid and the nights I stayed I had a great time at this hotel. It was quiet and a short walk away from a station. There were two convenience stores nearby as well. If I have the chance to book again, I definitely will.
