Hamburg : Kiwamiya Tokyo Station
Tokyo
レビュー
A must-visit in Tokyo Station’s restaurant area — just follow the queue and you’ll find it. Seating is bar-style and tight, but 100% worth it. Get the Hamburg + Steak combo. The hamburg lets you cook it to your liking right on the grill, and the steak literally melts in your mouth. FYI: whole party must line up together, and you order & pay before being seated.
Delicious hamburger yakiniku. We were wanting a tasty lunch and we're passing through Tokyo station and this was perfect. We got the steak and hamburger combo but honestly would have been happy with just the hamburger. Full of flavor and you grill small pieces yourself. Get the set with free refills of soup, salad, rice and ice cream. Its worth it. I got two fills of rice and soup. There might be a wait and it's not good for large parties. We waited about 15 minutes for two of us at around 2pm.
Just reached Tokyo and was looking for dinner near the train station and saw a long queue to the restaurant. Decided to try the food and queued around 40mins. There’s only the hamburg menu left and tried the set - meat was juicy and flavored well. Set includes refillable soup rice and an ice cream dessert. Taste is overall quite good but the effort and not so comfortable dining environment probably will not make me queue this long again.
This restaurant has already opened a branch in Bangkok, Thailand, but I haven’t tried it there yet because the queue is always extremely long. In the end, I decided to try it at the Tokyo Station branch instead. Overall, the experience was both fun and delicious. The beef was lightly seasoned, allowing the natural flavor of the meat to shine. I remember there were about six different dipping sauces to choose from, plus a special spicy one that costs extra. Interestingly, that spicy sauce tasted very similar to Thai-style dipping sauce(น้ำจิ้มแจ่ว), which made me wonder if it might have been inspired by Thai flavors. In the end, if you’re a traveler and there isn’t a branch in your country, it’s definitely worth trying at least once. As for Thai visitors, the waiting time might feel quite familiar—probably similar to lining up at Dusit Central Park back in Bangkok.
Finally found a restaurant that serves halal food THIS carefully and affordably 😍 totally worth the wait!🙌🏻 After several attempts to visit the Shibuya branch for their halal menu but always finding it sold out, I finally got to try it at this branch! We arrived about 20 minutes after opening and there were already around 10 people in line. The wait took about 15–20 minutes. While queuing, the staff handed us the menu and took our order, and when our turn was called, we went straight to the cashier to pay before being shown to our seats. Once seated, we could watch the chef prepare the meat fresh according to each order. For the halal option, they offer a 150g portion of meat only and by adding ¥400, you can enjoy unlimited refills ,totally worth it! I have to admit, after trying halal meat at several restaurants, this is one of the most affordable and worth-it places I’ve found. The meat was fresh, flavorful even without sauce,. And the rice? Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, so delicious!🌟 But the real highlight for me is how impressively detailed they are with their halal preparation. They use separate utensils and containers from the regular cooking equipment to avoid cross-contamination, and even the sauces and miso are specially prepared with halal ingredients. That level of care truly impressed me. For anyone who is strict about halal food, this place feels very safe and trustworthy. I was also really impressed by how professional and kind the staff were. Absolutely recommend this place 💯 will definitely come back again. Super worth it!
