An absolute gem tucked away on the outskirts of the bussling parts of Shibuya. I have had plenty of sashimi bowls in my time here, however, this was by far favourite! The lean blue finned tuna was to die for, and the salmon was the freshest I have had here. The rice was cooked to perfection, which improved everything altogether. The inclusion of a lot of complimentary side dishes made the service even better. Thank you for the beautiful meal 😊

A quiet kaisen-don restaurant located in a 5-minute walk from Shibuya station. Orders are easy to make on an electronic ticket machine. The restaurant is compact with counter-seating only, but there was no wait time during lunch. There were two staff members serving on that day. I was given a cup of miso soup while the staff quickly prepared my order. The tuna was fresh, firm, and clean-flavored, paired with a nicely seasoned rice underneath. A wonderful lunch meal - I hope to return soon to have this again!

In a city full of amazing food, how do you stand out from the crowd? When it comes to Maguro-to-Shari - which we found after some research - it might be the way you’re welcomed even if you’re a foreigner and doesn’t speak Japanese. Gently instructed how to order from the machine, served an amazing miso soup followed by fish so delicate we couldn’t stop smiling. The vinegar that they use bring life to the rice and matches the fish so well it’s almost worth a visit just to experience that. One of the best food experiences in a long time and we are so grateful.

Great donburi. Of course it’s an order on the machine, but that means endless customisations. I got the tuna / salmon blend, and was able to get less rice because normally it is filled to the brim. Went great with the beer. Happiness all around.

Amazing little seafood restaurant where you can eat maguro and salmon. The process is easy, you first choose your dish on the ticket machine inside the restaurant and then give the ticket to the chef. The food was really good, the fish was fresh and tasty, the plate was well presented. Staff friendly, small place so it can be easy crowded!
