My partner and I love Mo-Mo paradise! We came here about a week ago and HAD to come back because the food was so great. Our waiter Narumi was so very kind and was constantly making sure we were having a good experience and even helped us with our Shabu Shabu skills. The quality of the food is impressive for the price, and the establishment is remarkably hygienic. If you decide to come you’d be lucky to have Narumi as your waiter, as it’s guaranteed she will make sure you are having a wonderful experience.
Y.Suzuki is very nice and polite. He always check if we want to order anything and if any dishes are finished. He explained the menu and the way to eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki in detail. He can speak good English and he is very patient to answer every questions some customers asked. He is very willing to talk with me in Japanese too haha. Even we ordered many rounds, the meat is still as good as the first round. The ice-cream is delicious too!
Came back to Ikebukuro after visiting Mount Fuji and had sukiyaki at Momo. We waited less than 20 minutes in line. Special thanks to Yuju for the great service! She’s such a lovely, polite and cheerful girl. Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for your hard work. The sukiyaki here tastes incredible too!
I had a truly wonderful dining experience here. The beef quality was exceptional—so incredibly tender and flavorful. Pairing it with the fresh, sweet eggs made every bite absolutely perfect. What made this meal even more special was the outstanding hospitality from Ms. Choomi. She gave us excellent recommendations and handled every request with the most beautiful, bright smile. Her lovely and heartwarming energy genuinely made the food taste even more delicious! I will definitely come back again. 🫶🏻
A fantastic experience for our first shabu-shabu! We arrived around 9:00 PM, quite close to closing time, but the staff welcomed us warmly with no wait time at all, just politely letting us know about the closing schedule. We opted for the standard "all-you-can-eat" course (beef and pork), and everything was delicious. Even though it was late, the Vegetable Market was fully stocked with plenty of fresh options, tofu, and noodles. The service was the highlight of our evening. Since it was our first time trying shabu-shabu, Yuna was incredibly patient and helpful. She explained the whole process step-by-step in English and checked on us throughout the meal. When we were paying, Umi was super friendly and had a nice chat with us at the register, also in fluent English. The restaurant was very clean, well-organized, and the staff was attentive. While the price might be slightly higher than an everyday quick meal in Japan, it is totally worth it given the high quality of the food and the "all-you-can-eat" formula. I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially tourists looking for a welcoming, English-friendly spot in Ikebukuro!
