Ngl this is the best eel rice i ever had. The soysauce, eel, everything grilled to its perfection. I'm not sure how Famous this shop is, but trust me it worth you a try when you are in Tokyo. Plus, the price is very extremely reasonable, half eel with sides and rice only 1600yen. 😳 I come on an usual Monday, no reservation needed.
A little tricky to find but hands down the best unagi ever. I like that they have a guide on the different recommendations on how to eat the unagi on the table. It really enhanced our experience! Very quiet restaurant and friendly servers!
We visited this place three times during our trip to Tokyo. I highly recommend the deluxe unagi set — the quality is noticeably better, and it’s definitely worth paying a little extra compared to the regular unagi option.
I went to the eel restaurant “Naruse,” which I had been curious about for a while. I ordered the premium eel, and it was absolutely delicious. Personally, I really liked eating it with the wasabi and green onions on the side. It seems they have locations outside of Roppongi as well, so I’d love to go again.
We had our dinner at Naruse Unagi Roppongi Branch, the Unagi tastes good and fresh, the portion is very generous, you can choose to have either 1/2, 3/4 or full eel. Pricing is very affordable, I could say its value for money.
