Roof Top Restaurant & Music Bar Soak
Tokyo
レビュー
SOAK surprised me in the best way. left genuinely impressed. Food highlights: the steak, a shrimp pasta that was perfectly seasoned, bruschetta, and two matcha desserts (panna cotta and cheesecake) that were light and not overly sweet. Everything was well executed. The drinks are the real star. We tried the Espresso Martini, Wabi Sabi, Hendricks Echo, and Veludo, all with great technique and balance. You can tell the bar program here is serious. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Water always full, timing on point. The OYU rooftop pool opens next month and I'll be back for that. If you want a rooftop in Shibuya that actually delivers on food AND drinks, this is it.
I’ve always wanted to come to this place, and I’m so glad I finally did. They have delicious meals and creative cocktails to enjoy, especially the cheesecake, which was so good. They also have a pool you can enjoy during the summer season, which I’m already looking forward to!
Apr 10, 2026 Food was ordinary and pretty expensive, the kind you would exactly expect at a rooftop bar instead of at a proper restaurant. That coupled with 1,000 yen music charge per person could lead to an overpriced bill. Cold appetizers, mozzarella cheese and tomato, and salmon carpaccio, and were exactly as it is i.e. laying out the ingredients but not a lot of craftsmanship put into it. Mushroom risotto wasn't bad though. 200g steak was quite filling in volume. The view was alright since you mostly saw buildings from the indoor side of the restaurant. When you are out at the terrace though you can see the traffic and I liked it more. There's also a shallow pool (?) area that I don't know if it's used for just decoration, or actually swimming in the summer. I came in at 9:15pm and last order for dinner was 10pm. With a reservation I could've chosen to sit by the bar counter, which I did, or by the window. Not packed on a Friday night. Prompt service at the bar counter. But I didn't like the attitude of the platinum-dyed girl with glasses at the entrance counter. We already had a reservation and I just simply had to walk in to meet my companion yet it took forever to be guided inside for no reason. Interior filled with eye-catching neon lights and ceiling installations. But somehow it felt a bit cheap and try-hard... Been to Miyashita Park countless times but it was my first time at this place on 18F of Sequence hotel. After we were done with dinner on 18F, we went down to 4F, the hotel lobby and took a look. Spacious place to sit and work on your laptop even at 11pm. Some interesting kimono art pieces on display.
The restaurant is pretty run-down—I mean, everything’s peeling off the walls, and there’s practically no seating. The view is really great, though. I asked to be seated inside because I’d made a reservation, but they said no—that there’s nothing inside, it’s all packed, and I could only sit outside. I arrived at 7: 00, but I can only sit there after 10:00. They’ll charge you an extra 1,000 yuan to be seated. They don’t really understand English very well. Even it, and hotel bar. The pizza is tasty.
A great rooftop bar and restaurant with a fun vibe! We had the set Italian menu which included 7 courses and 6 drinks, excellent value. You have to try the wasabi cocktail and the coffee-based one; both were unique and delicious. For food, the chicken teriyaki pizza was a standout and the tuna tartare was also very good. The staff were incredibly attentive and caring. Really recommended to visit! 🌆❤️
