Debasaki was delicious and moist as all reviews say. The yakitori was ok. Chicken salad was good too, Rice also tasty. However; the service did not feel like authentic Japanese service. The man and woman server/cook both had no enthusiasm and a somewhat rude attitude when asked for something. Also, the toilet seat in the bathroom was falling off the toilet as one screw was completely missing and the other completely loose.
Beware! They tried to scam us at this izakaya! We had our food and asked for the check, in the screen it also displayed the price split between 3 people but the immigrant server specifically asked for 1 card only. He took our credit card and went away to the cash register to make the payment and didn't come back for a long time which made us suspicious. My credit card never asks for PIN for small amounts. The server came back with the card attached in the Pos machine. He asked for me to enter the PIN and his finger was covering the total amount. I deliberately entered the wrong password and cancelled the transaction and removed my card. Then, he brought out another pos machine and it worked right away. He tried to charge my card for approximately 15.000 yen for our 5000 yen check. I do not support this shady activity and will never come here again. Please be careful, never let them take your card away from you. Also, the table at the entrance was freezing cold!
Yakitori are nice, lunch here for 3 of us, English menu was help. Enjoy our meal here!
