I'm still here so maybe this will change by the time I leave. But right now...woooooo... I just couldn't be bothered looking around and bobbed in thinking this will be a bit rubbish but I should probably eat something before I start drinking. The Doru Yaki was just fantastic! Even what should have been boring cabbage was elevated with a lovely sesame oil dressing. Cheap beer. We shall see how much the cover charge is though 🤣
Actual food didn't match the menu pictures. The fish was not cooked like the photo. And one of the orders was wrong. They offered to fix it but it would require a long wait. So they tried to make it better, but still didnt get it right. Oh well, the waiter was apologetic and tried to make it better.
Amazing! The staff are so friendly and kind and they cook the food for you or you can cook it yourself, the seafood is so fresh. It is still alive in the store so it’s probably some of the freshest you’ll find. If you love shellfish, this is the restaurant for you! They have so many different kinds of shellfish that I don’t even know the names of them all. The fried shrimp was huge huge and delicious paired with the tartar sauce. For our selected course we got many different kinds of seafood, as well as king crab legs, grilled Unagi, sushi, shrimp, tempura, and sashimi!
Food was delicious and fresh. The eel was incredible as was the sushi, fried chicken and cucumbers. We felt very welcome as tourists and the staff spoke english and made check out a breeze.
Had a great experience here. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly, with the added bonus of speaking good English, which made ordering easy, and they accept credit card payments. The crab 🦀 was absolutely delicious, and the eel rice was a solid choice too. The sashimi was a little on the dry side, but still acceptable. Overall, a great spot, especially if you're looking for a place to eat or hang out late at night. I would recommend it.
