A Warm Chef, Incredible Food, and a Night Our Family Will Never Forget Dining with Chef Mizuk was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Japan. From the moment we walked in, Chef Mizuk welcomed our family with genuine warmth and hospitality, making us feel like honored guests from the very beginning. She was absolutely wonderful with our kids, taking the time to interact with them, make them smile, and ensure they felt included throughout the evening. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care made the experience even more memorable for our entire family. The Kobe and Wagyu beef were simply phenomenal—the best we’ve ever had. Every bite was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of rich, buttery flavor. You can truly see the passion and skill she puts into every dish. Everything was prepared to perfection and beautifully presented. What makes Chef Mizuk so special isn’t just her incredible talent in the kitchen, but also the warmth and heart she brings to every guest. She creates an atmosphere that is both elegant and welcoming, making families feel completely at home. If you’re looking for an unforgettable Kobe and Wagyu dining experience in Japan, Chef Mizuk is a must-visit. Amazing food, exceptional hospitality, and a chef who truly cares about her guests. Thank you, Chef Mizuk, for giving our family such a wonderful evening—we’ll cherish the memories and can’t wait to visit again! I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Japan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing dining experience! The Kobe beef was absolutely outstanding—beautifully marbled, incredibly tender, and it literally melted in our mouths. Every bite was rich, juicy, and full of flavor. The chef prepared each piece with great skill and explained the different cuts, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also loved the wagyu sushi—it was one of the best we’ve ever had.
We happened upon this restaurant by chance and had the most delicious meal. We were treated so kindly and everyone was very friendly and spent time explaining each of the meal to us. None of us wanted the meal to end. It was one of our best Japanese experiences with a meal. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we ate and the preparation and service. We ordered two types of Kobe beef steaks, steamed rice, Kobe beef fried rice and Kobe beef curry and rice. We were also served fresh grilled vegetables with our meal. If you want an authentic Japanese Kobe beef experience I highly recommend getting off the busy street and sitting for a nice lunch here.
Our dining experience tonight at Katana Asakusa, was the finest I've ever had the privilege of sharing to date. The Kobe Beef and Teppanyaki they had on offer looked tempting, but I decided I'd enjoy their 300 gram Wagyu beef Sirloin. Mizuki was an excellent and patient server. Helping us translate as English speakers with ease. Chef Ando offered fantastic service as well, showcasing expert culinary skill and honorable professionalism. The wagyu itself was the most rich and savory thing I've ever tasted in my life. Melting in my mouth and losing myself in the amazing flavor. Luckily the 300 gram option was far larger a portion size than I was expending and I had plenty of chances to savor it as long as I'd like. Though it may definitely be a better idea to go with the 120 gram option for those who eat less. 10/10 experience of a life time 💙
I picked this place because I really wanted to try Japanese Kobe beef 🥩 steak and it was located in Asakusa district not too far from my hotel. And they did not disappoint my picky taste over all . They had many options of different steaks but I have chosen the most expensive one and popular one. I just arrived from USA and was struggling with jet lag and it definitely affected my appetite . I wasn’t hungry at all when i came for dinner. They were so nice and gave me the smaller portion of steak 🥩, once i requested. That was just perfect for me. The other day i would definitely handle the normal size. I liked everything, welcoming relaxed and very authentic atmosphere, excellent service and quality of food! Glass of Whiskey 🥃 made it even smoother . So if you are looking for real authentic Kobe beef and real Wagyu experience go for it. Just keep it in mind this place is kind of pricey but is still worth to try. To make the store more funny, the fact that that night was exactly St. Patrick day in United States, and when steak 🥩 came with little bit of Gold on a top or something like that , I found it as a very good sign , because you usually look for Gold on st Patrick day lol . So i can consider I found my Gold on that steak 😂😂😂😂 Thanks for having me and making my experience pleasant and unforgettable 🙏🫶
