If you eat with your eyes then you will be happy. More of a place for instagrammers. The rice dish was ok. I recommend below Matsu bowl because I didn't find value or taste in the uni. The dashi broth improved the taste a lot. Expect a line up.
Tsujihan is definitely worth the wait if you love fresh seafood. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the rice was perfectly cooked with a nice sesame flavor that complemented the fish really well. The broth served at the end was also delicious. Personally, I preferred drinking the broth on its own rather than pouring it over the rice, as it allowed me to enjoy its clean and comforting flavor. A unique and satisfying meal with high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended!
The food was absolutely delicious, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. One of the highlights was the soup served at the end to enjoy with the remaining rice — it was amazingly flavorful and the perfect way to finish the meal. When I arrived, the queue wasn’t too long, but it quickly became very busy afterward. The waiting time was around 40 minutes to 1 hour, but it was definitely worth it. Great quality, excellent flavors, and a memorable dining experience. I would happily come back again! 😊
The longest line in the restaurant is in my life (about 90 minutes), but honestly, it is worthy! Probably one of the best experiences diner experience during my trip in Japan. You will be shocked at how tasty everything is in the restaurant. The place is super small, but it creates a pretty unique ambiance in there. So its it my humble recommendation, add the restaurant to the list of places, what has to be visited in Tokyo!
The food was absolutely delicious. The seafood was very fresh, served on a bed of well-seasoned Japanese rice, and accompanied by a side of sashimi with what tasted like a sesame-based sauce—really amazing combination. When about one-third of the rice bowl was left, the staff added a sea bream broth, which was light yet rich in seafood flavor and elevated the entire dish. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, with seating arranged around the preparation area, allowing you to watch the chefs at work, which added to the overall experience. Be prepared for a wait though. I queued from around 9:00am for a 10:00am opening on a weekday and still waited about one and half hour to be seated. If you want to be among the first, it’s best to arrive earlier—around 8:30am. Overall, a great dining experience with excellent food, but do plan your time for the queue.
