Amazing meal. You don’t really get a discount for lunch. I appreciate there are none raw fish options. This location is less busy than in Ginza or Shinjuku. The experienced staff was very attentive, professional, and prepared our meal with perfect timing. Worth every yen.

Wanted to try a shabu-shabu restaurant while in Japan, interesting place to find like so many in Japan in a building ! Very typical reception with our own waitress, very gentle and friendly, thank you sakamotosan for looking after us so well. Food: presentation fabulous, all our little "starter" dishes so pretty but all extremely flat in flavour with no seasoning, shame as they look so fabulous, Keiko sorted our shabu-shabu dishes, cooked everything to perfection and was so lovely in doing so. Most expensive lunch during our stay by far, an experience to be done if visiting.

If you’re heading to Japan, Imahan is a must for exceptional sukiyaki. With over 100 years of history, this legendary restaurant is synonymous with top-tier wagyu. They have several locations across Japan, including Haneda Airport, and reservations can be made online. Their beef specialists source only the finest cuts. We visited for their New Year’s special menu, which began with a selection of beautifully crafted entrees. Elegant, delicate, and deeply satisfying. One of the best parts? You don’t lift a finger. The staff prepares everything for you, allowing you to simply sit back and enjoy. The beef quite literally melts in your mouth. Each person receives four generous slices, accompanied by vegetables, and you get to experience the sukiyaki in four different ways. To finish, they served a soft scrambled egg served over rice. Pure comfort and absolutely delicious. Even the dessert was a standout, rounding off an unforgettable meal.
