It's a secret in plain sight, with all the ads for the restaurant being placed on the first floor of the mall yet when you come up to Shiseido Parlour via elevator- you'll find a perfect pocket of peace and quiet away from the busy streets of Harajuku. I came here close to dinnertime and am writing this at the table at 6pm so I suppose most people aren't looking to get dessert like I am- but I still find it wonderful regardless that there's a pleasant and calm space where I don't have to see anyone else or feel like I'm on a timer to leave. Feels very private and luxurious. The staff is attentive and the person who was waiting on me was a lady who spoke excellent English and explained the menu well. I'm seated by the window with a lovely view of Harajuku's back streets though I hear the other side of the restaurant offers a great view of the forest (I haven't seen it but other reviews do say so). Walked in here by chance when I was shopping and looking for a place to sit down at. Glad I came here, it's a really nice little restaurant to be at! My parfait that I received with my parfait/tea set was alright, it is a regular parfait but it does hit the spot when it feels too hot!

4.5 star ; food is ok but service is excellent. Price/performance is high because the set came with wine, two appetizers cold n hot dishes), main, dessert, coffee. In particular, The dessert was parfait and it was very nice. they r on 8th floor with huge windows overlooking the meji temple direction . View is nice. suggests to request table by the window on the WEST SIDE. reserve the earliest booking to hv the best chance of getting window seats.

Cool spot right down the street from Takeshita Street. I came specifically to try their parfait and I got to enjoy it while looking out at the city. It's located on the 8th floor with a Uniqlo on Floor 1 so you won't miss it. You can only get to it by elevator. The escalators will only take you to floor 3. (Something I had to figure out lolol.) I got the seasonal Christmas parfait- Mixed berry and it was art. Great parfait 👍🏼

A Hidden Gem for a Beautiful Lunch Located on the 8th floor in Harajuku (and owned by Shiseido!), this restaurant is a serene escape. We had a reservation for lunch and were seated right by the floor-to-ceiling windows with a stunning, lush view of Meiji Jingu forest. The service was attentive and excellent from start to finish. We chose the set menu with alcohol pairing, and every course was absolutely delicious. This isn't a "must-see" spot for a tourist on a tight schedule, but if you're a frequent visitor to Japan or simply looking for a special, high-quality meal—especially a romantic lunch—I highly recommend it.
