Reviews
I’m giving 2 stars because the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and patient despite the language barrier. The dry head massage and neck massage were okay and somewhat relaxing, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of the experience. The physical scalp exfoliation felt extremely harsh and at times almost painful. The most disappointing part was how my hair was handled afterward. I have long hair that doesn’t usually tangle when treated properly, but due to the shampooing technique and lack of conditioning, it became very tangled. The staff member then brushed through it quite forcefully, and I could both hear and see my hair breaking. As someone who takes great care of my hair, this was honestly very upsetting. This was my first head spa experience, so I’m not sure if this is typical, but I left with an irritated scalp and hair that felt damaged. It’s described as a “healing” treatment but I left feeling physically uncomfortable and quite stressed. If I can offer some honest feedback: I understand this is not a hair salon, but it would really help to have some basic training on handling long hair, or to allow clients to gently comb their own hair with a leave-in conditioner after the treatment.
I booked a 60-minute head massage. First, they did a scalp analysis, then I chose a fragrance oil. The water circulation shampoo was so gentle, and they even gave me a shoulder and neck massage. I didn't even have to blow-dry my hair myself; the staff dried and combed it for me—it was so relaxing.
This healing head massage is a five-minute walk from Ikebukuro West Exit. I had the 90-minute course, but it felt so good that I fell asleep halfway through. After wrapping my head in a warm towel, I received a head massage with aromatic oil and care for my neck and shoulders. They precisely targeted areas where fatigue tends to accumulate, such as my temples and Fengchi area, and left my head feeling lighter and my eyes refreshed. The interior has a calming Japanese atmosphere, making it a safe place for women to come alone. I highly recommend it for days after a tiring day at work or shopping. I'll definitely be coming back.
I tried the head massage! The environment was comfortable and the process was complete, perfect for when you want to truly relax! The massage included a head massage with just the right amount of pressure, leaving me feeling completely relaxed. Afterwards, they even helped blow-dry and style my hair, so I didn't have to worry about leaving looking messy. I'll definitely be coming back regularly!
