I found this place on Apple Maps because I wanted to try some authentic Japanese Kobe and Wagyu beef. I discovered this place on Apple Maps because I was eager to experience authentic Japanese Kobe and Wagyu beef. This marked my inaugural visit to Japan, so you can imagine my excitement. Once reviving the menu I realized it was go big or go home because this isn’t for the cheap. So I decided to try the Kobe Double Burger with the Wagyu steak. Both the burger and steak were extremely tender and the meat literally dissolves in your mouth! This was probably the most delicate and delicious steak dish I’ve experienced. I recommend 10/10 if you can afford this because Kobe and Wagyu beef aren’t cheap products at all. And if you find them cheap, it may be inauthentic.
We tried Godaime Wagyu Tokyo (Halal) at the Ginza location and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Japanese Wagyu Steak Rice Bowl and the Japanese Steak Platinum, and both were incredible. The wagyu was so juicy and full of flavor. Service was excellent too. Our server took the time to actually chat with us and get to know us before diving into the menu, which made the whole meal feel warm and personal rather than rushed. That kind of attentive, genuine hospitality made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality halal wagyu in Tokyo!
Best Wagyu burger I’ve had! The burger was juicy, delicious, tender, and full of flavor. The bun was fresh and soft, the sauce was excellent, and everything tasted perfectly balanced. The quality of the Wagyu really stood out. On top of that, the hospitality was outstanding—very friendly, welcoming, and attentive staff. Great food and great people. Highly recommended!
3/5 Great meat, rushed out the door We came in with a reservation and ordered Combo 1 (¥20,768) and Combo 2 (¥34,782). The Kobe A5 steak in Combo 2 was genuinely excellent. Tender, rich, properly cooked. The Wagyu roast beef bowl was also great when it arrived, though the whole flame performance thing they do at the table actually burned the meat and ruined the flavor. Combo 1's truffle burger and fries were fine, basically a decent regular burger. Not mind-blowing for the price. Service was a mixed bag. Our server was very friendly, spoke great English and even some German, which was a nice surprise. But the moment we finished dessert, no one offered coffee or another round of drinks. He asked if we wanted the bill. We didn't, but we paid anyway. Two minutes later, while we were still mid-conversation, another staff member interrupted us and asked us to leave because people were waiting. Felt incredibly rushed for a ¥55,000+ meal. The space itself needs work. We're in Ginza, supposedly Tokyo's most expensive district, and the interior looks like it hasn't been touched in 6+ years. Holes in the wall, worn-out seating, and only one toilet for the whole place. Doesn't match the premium pricing or the location. At these prices the neglect is simply disrespectful. They don't deserve my professional pictures. Bottom line: The Kobe steak is real and delicious. Everything else, the atmosphere, the pacing, the way they hustle you out, feels like a tourist trap cashing in on the halal Wagyu niche. Come for the meat, don't expect to linger.
