Originally founded in Hawaii, Eggs 'n Things has become a global brand, but much of its widespread popularity can be attributed to its pancake success in Japan. Tokyo's Odaiba branch feels especially well suited to the bay setting, adding to the relaxed Hawaiian atmosphere. The restaurant's high ceilings create a wonderful sense of openness and spaciousness, making the dining experience feel even more enjoyable. We were fortunate to get seats by the window, offering views of Rainbow Bridge and even a glimpse of Tokyo Tower in the distance. The scenery added a special touch to the meal. For our meal, we chose the loco moco and the avocado cheeseburger, both of which were satisfying in both portion size and flavor after a long day of walking. The burger comes with a choice of roasted or mashed potatoes, and the roasted potatoes we selected were delicious as well. A great spot to enjoy hearty Hawaiian comfort food with some of Odaiba's best waterfront views.
We stopped here for breakfast because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately we were a little bit disappointed. One of the plates was greasy. Food was just ok. It was a little bit bland for our taste. We paid almost 5.000 yen for two drinks and two dishes. Which we thought was pricey. For comparison we paid 5.600yen at an izakaya in ginza for four drinks and 7 dishes. They do speak English and have English menus. Staff is friendly.
One of the most popular locations of this Hawaiian pancake chain in Tokyo, set inside Aqua City. If you manage to get a table on the terrace, you’ll have a direct view of the Rainbow Bridge and the Odaiba Statue of Liberty, especially nice at sunset or at night when everything lights up. They’re known for their pancakes topped with a huge amount of whipped cream, which is light and airy. Portions are very generous, so it’s best to share one pancake dish and order something salty to balance it out. Beyond desserts, they also have Hawaiian-style savory options. Service is good, and they offer an English menu, making it easy for tourists.
I had a wonderful experience. The pancakes were absolutely delicious, and the view of the Rainbow Bridge was truly incredible. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. Everything was well organized and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Tokyo.
Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Good for kids too (kids menu and high chairs available). Portions are not too big, just right for one person. Vegetarian options available.
