This is the third time we eaten at Momo’s, and it’s well worth dining at the Shinjuku branch. We opted for the premium meat course and thoroughly enjoyed. Sakura our waitress was super friendly and guided up through the cooking and ordering process. We even got to enjoy some Japanese red wine!
We took a party of 5 here at 7pm on a Tuesday. The place was not crowded, and though we did not have a reservation, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was excellent, beautiful and clean. Very quiet, we were able to talk at the table easily. We each got the Wagyu upgrade shabushabu, and it was phenomenal. You get two 4-piece A5 Wagyu bowls per order before it switches to traditional all-you-can-eat beef/pork menu. Unlimited veggies, sauces, and broth are standard. The food was incredible. So tender and flavorful. I ate my body weight in beef, possibly more, and it was all excellent. Our waitress was attentive and the veggie guy was always there when you need him. Surprisingly, the unlimited ice cream bar was a huge hit after the hot meats. Highly recommend!
Mo Mo is a shabu shabu Paradise. Our waiter, Ryuki, was very kind and showed us how to get started. Very attentive throughout and an asset to the restaurant. All staff were helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My husband loved the wagu and because I am a vegetarian they provided a split pot so I could cook my veggies and dumplings, tidy and 'meat' balls separately. Dessert was some lovely matcha ice-cream and mango. The meal and dessert are all unlimited making this a very good value top rated experience!
Had an amazing dining experience at Mo-Mo-Paradise Kabukicho! The quality of the food was excellent — fresh meats, flavorful broths, and a great variety of ingredients for both sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. Everything was well prepared and consistently replenished. What really stood out was the service. The staff, especially Yu & Mr. Islam were incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Yu explained the menu clearly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Definitely one of the best hotpot experiences I’ve had in Tokyo. Highly recommended for both tourists and locals looking for great food and excellent hospitality!
