We enjoyed our crab shabu shabu at Seryna Ginza. With one of the guests with multiple food allergies, the communication and recommendations were spot on. A truly delicious meal, in a very beautiful atmosphere. The waitress who served us was very good, and made us feel very confident and safe about the food allergies which really helped us to truly relax and enjoy the incredible meal! One of the finest meals in our 3 week trip! Thank you!
Superb Shabu Shabu restaurant. High quality beef and also other menu. Attentive and nice service. Nice and relaxing atmosphere
A must-visit in Tokyo. The beef is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth, and the service is attentive without being overbearing. Both the shabu-shabu and sukiyaki were excellent, and the taro ice cream at the end was a perfect finish.
Let me start by saying the food itself was genuinely very good. The quality was there, the flavors were clean, and nothing tasted subpar at all. The restaurant is beautiful, the ambiance is on point, everything is spotless including the bathroom, and the staff are professional and attentive without being overbearing. Service wise, no complaints. Where it lost me was the price to portion ratio. I understand it is positioned as a more upscale, luxury style shabu shabu experience, and yes the wagyu is expensive, but five slices per person for the higher tier set just did not feel like enough for what we paid. I also expected the vegetable portion to be more generous since vegetables are not the premium cost item, but even that felt skimpy. Overall the set included the five slices of meat, vegetables, some noodles, rice, soup, and a scoop of ice cream, and I finished everything easily. We even ordered wine on the side which pushed the per person total higher, and honestly I felt more full from the wine than from the actual meal. It is disappointing because the food quality is undeniably good, but the satisfaction level just did not match the price.
I was able to come in on an early weekday evening without a reservation for a table of 4. I’ve never had Shabu Shabu before and was blown away by the clean but indulgent flavors. Top notch ingredients prepared by the most attentive staff in an elegant subterranean setting with spacious seating. Lovely dinner!
