⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute hidden gem in Ueno! If you’re looking for high-quality omakase that actually fills you up without breaking the bank, you have to visit this place. We got the OMAKASE Premium Course for ¥11,000 (around $65), and the amount of food they served was incredible. The seasonal sushi and dishes just kept coming, and everything tasted amazing and fresh. You definitely won't leave hungry! They were also incredibly accommodating to our dietary needs. Since we don't eat meat, the chefs kindly and seamlessly swapped all the meat dishes on the menu for extra, ultra-fresh seasonal fish, making it perfectly Muslim-friendly for us. The price also includes a 90-minute all-you-can-drink package, which had great soft drink options. The restaurant has a great, relaxed atmosphere and is hidden underground just a 1-minute walk from the JR Ueno Station Asakusa Exit. Fantastic food, massive portions, and wonderful service. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful place to have authentic sushi experience near Ueno station. I had the Omakase course, which was more than enough for a full meal for one person combining sushi, sashimi, lobster, tempura, miso soup, beef steak, icecream and many other items. The sushi and sashimi dishes were fresh, soft and delicious. I liked their omlet-unagi dish the most. It was a unique item I havent tasted anywhere else. As I could not eat a beef dish because of dietary restrictions, they geberously replaced it with a dish of fish. So, if you have concerns for meat and alcohol, just let the staffs know. They were very friendly and polite, as well as eager to explain every dish in brief. The lodster was the most delicious item in the course, they cook the lobster head with miso soup. The course ends with trivial yuzu flavored icecream. The Omakase course is a great experience at this place and a must try option.

Nice food and nice service here. After we siting down just realised that there are no much cooked sushi. Therefore, we chose two seared sushi and that’s tested good! It’s an enjoyable experience for both of us who don’t really eat uncooked sushi. The staff is kind, although can’t really speak in English but try to use translation to communicate with us and told us which sushi is cooked and uncooked. We also ordered other food like fried chicken and fried crab and one miso fish soup. All tastes delicious! It serves a plenty of alcoholic drink as well but we did not try this time.

A great sushi spot in Tokyo with a relaxed neo-izakaya atmosphere. The menu blends traditional sushi techniques with more creative dishes. Highlights included the Ikura & Crab “Sushi Martini,” beautifully served in a cocktail glass, the creamy uni gunkan, and the luxurious ikura hand roll. We also enjoyed classic nigiri like chutoro, salmon, and scallop, along with rich otoro sashimi. The seafood was very fresh and each piece was simple yet well balanced. A nice place to enjoy high-quality sushi in a casual, comfortable setting.
