We visited "Shrimp Dining Ebi-an," located about a 2-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station 🦐 This restaurant is a paradise for shrimp lovers, offering plenty of delicious shrimp dishes! The interior has a calm, modern Japanese atmosphere ✨ There are also private rooms, making it perfect for dates, girls' nights out, or when you want to enjoy a leisurely meal 😊 What was particularly impressive was the assorted shrimp sashimi platter! It was fun to compare different types of shrimp, such as sweet shrimp and red shrimp, each with its own unique sweetness and texture 💕 Plus, the heads of the sashimi were deep-fried, allowing us to enjoy them deliciously to the very last bite 🦐 The cocktail shrimp was visually stunning and perfect for photos ◎ The garlic shrimp was fragrant and paired perfectly with drinks 🍋 The shrimp wrapped in kataifi pastry and the large fried shrimp had the perfect combination of crispy and plump textures! I was completely satisfied, even down to the final dish, the shrimp-flavored salt-based mazesoba (mixed noodles). I could really taste the delicious shrimp flavor! 😋 The dessert was a roll cake topped with fruit, and it was delicious! 💕 Shrimp lovers should definitely check out this restaurant! 🦐
A restaurant I'd recommend to shrimp lovers! We enjoyed a full shrimp feast! Cocktail shrimp and 3 other dishes Assorted shrimp sashimi (red shrimp, sweet shrimp, angel shrimp) Shrimp and prosciutto salad Shrimp wrapped in kataifi pastry & large fried shrimp Garlic shrimp Shrimp-flavored salted mixed noodles Dessert We compared three types of shrimp in the sashimi. It was so luxurious! ♡ I was surprised that all three types had completely different flavors. The shrimp heads from the sashimi were made into tempura! They have a wide variety of drinks, and an all-you-can-drink option. It's close to Ikebukuro Station, so access is great! Table seats, counter seats, and private rooms are available.
I visited this restaurant after hearing it specializes in shrimp. Since I love shrimp, I was really looking forward to it and my expectations were high! I had cocktail shrimp, a shrimp sashimi platter, shrimp and prosciutto salad, shrimp wrapped in kataifi pastry, large fried shrimp, garlic shrimp, shrimp-flavored salt-based mixed noodles, and even a roll cake – I was completely satisfied! Their dedication to using different types of shrimp for each dish, such as angel shrimp, sweet shrimp, and red shrimp, was wonderful. It was a rare and valuable experience to be able to compare different types of shrimp – I definitely want to come back!
We made a reservation for two people for 4 PM on Sunday, March 29th, in the early afternoon. At this time, there were no all-you-can-drink courses available, and it seemed like only the evening menu was offered. The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk from the west exit of Ikebukuro Station. The restaurant is on the first floor of a building and easy to find. The interior is clean and tidy. There are counter seats and tables. We entered as soon as they opened at 4 PM. It was nice and quiet. We sat at a table. There was a good amount of space between us and the next table, so we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably. Later, we found out that this restaurant has excellent fried food, and it would have been fun to order fried food at the counter and eat it while it was still hot. The staff provided cheerful and pleasant service, and the dishes and drinks we ordered were brought to us in a reasonable amount of time (probably because it was early and not crowded). Below are my impressions of the food and drinks. Two half-and-half beers, one freshly squeezed lemon sour and one Hoppy set (black). Each dish (serves 2) included: lemon-pickled tomatoes (sweet! refreshing), deep-fried shrimp paste wrapped in shiso leaves (crispy and naturally flavorful), sashimi of spot prawns (fresh, sweet, and tender flesh, delicious with the head's miso – pure bliss!) ✔The heads are deep-fried and served later, and they are exquisite! Large prawns with herb salt (covered with shrimp paste to concentrate the flavor of the flesh; the paste might be a bit repetitive), deep-fried pufferfish (they have delicious food other than shrimp too!), and tempura of sakura shrimp and broad beans (the fried food is crispy and fragrant, and the sweetness of the broad beans really shines through, making it very tasty). The total bill came to approximately 5000 yen per person. Considering the pleasant service, the quality of the ingredients, and the delicious taste of each dish, I felt it was very reasonably priced. I was very satisfied. I think this is a restaurant worth visiting at least once if you like shrimp. Thank you ☺
This is a specialty shrimp restaurant in Ikebukuro where you can fully enjoy shrimp dishes. Shrimp Dining Ebi-an. This time, I had the 5,500 yen course. As the name suggests, this restaurant offers creative dishes featuring shrimp, and the course includes shrimp dishes prepared in various ways. From appetizers to the main course, it's all about shrimp, a treat for shrimp lovers. Particularly impressive was a dish using large shrimp. It had a striking appearance, a light and crispy batter, and a firm, springy texture inside, with the sweetness and umami of the shrimp spreading with every bite. The other dishes were also carefully prepared in a creative style combining Japanese and Western elements, and the balance of flavors was excellent, making the entire course enjoyable. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere and private rooms are available, and it's close to Ikebukuro North Exit station. It seems suitable for a wide range of occasions, such as dates, meals with friends, and business dinners. A recommended restaurant for those who want to enjoy shrimp dishes in Ikebukuro. This is a restaurant that shrimp lovers should definitely visit at least once.
