Went in with my partner when it was relatively empty. Ordered two 5500 yen 12 piece nigiri sets. We waited 40 minutes for the sushi to come (they gave us a small plate of shriveled edamame and some chawanmushi around the 25 and 35 minute mark). I asked if it usually takes this long for the nigiri set to come out (which is kind of annoying of me but I was actually kind of curious) and the server just said “yes” lol. Can’t argue with that, I guess. Most importantly though, the food was not great. Nigiri set was utterly forgettable. Left feeling like my money AND time were wasted.
I had a great time at this restaurant. I stood in line with the other Japanese as a German and got to sit downstairs. Very nice staff and amazing food the taste was excellent and such table fee mentioned in some of the other reviews did not exist for me. I highly recommend this place as it offers some of the best sushi in Tokyo for a very fair price. Will definetly return in the future. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ginza.
Had a good experience of live sushi making here in this restaurant. Service was great at the time we were there. The chef was great by explaining each thing he made but unfortunately we didn't understand him full bevause he mixed english and japanese when talking lol. Fresh taste and nice place. A bit pricey but worth a visit if you were in Ginza.
Came across this place while strolling around Ginza. Quaint, cozy and welcoming. This was one of the first places where we had sushi in Tokyo, and it made us place this restaurant at the top of our recommendation list. Superior food quality and warm service made our lunch memorable. Everyone on our table kept referring to this place as one of their favourites from our trip. Must haves: Sushi (all kinds)
9k yen for the salmon and tuna platters! And they gave us the full range of each! Amazing! The server was also very nice and high spirited! Patient with my broken-af japanese, and he was great overall! We got a nice table spot, and the vibes was really nice! The food tasted amazing! Would come back!
