If you're looking for a place to have lunch after strolling around the Meiji Jingu area, this is the spot. I highly recommend the counter seats, where you can watch them cook the food right in front of you. I ordered the classic "Butatama" (pork okonomiyaki) and a fresh-squeezed lemon squash. The okonomiyaki, grilled right before my eyes, had a wonderfully fluffy texture and rich, savory pork flavor—a classic choice that never disappoints. The fresh-squeezed lemon squash offered a refreshing tartness that paired perfectly with the okonomiyaki; it was the ideal drink for a hot day. Considering the prime location in the Meiji Jingu area, the prices are very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. There were many international tourists in the restaurant, and it was great to see them enjoying this quintessential Japanese teppan-style meal. It was a delicious meal!
The food was really good, especially the okonomiyaki and steak toppings. Everything was freshly cooked and flavorful. The presentation was also nice, and the ingredients tasted fresh. However, the service attitude could be improved. The staff seemed a bit unfriendly and not very welcoming, which affected the overall dining experience. If the customer service were warmer, this place would be much better. Overall, I enjoyed the food, but I hope the service can match the quality of the dishes in the future.
One of my favorite restaurants I visited on my trip. The food is very good, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. My favorite item was their potatos roasted to perfection.
This place is 🔥. Service is warm and welcoming, food is fantastic! We had the Japanese Omelette, Pan Fried Pork & Kimchi, Modan Yaki and a few freshly squeezed lemon sours between 2 people. Perfect balance.
Came here for lunch around 1:00 PM and there was a line, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, and there was still a steady queue of people when we left. We ordered two standard okonomiyaki—one with buta (pork) and negi (green onion) and another with buta and potato—along with a cheese yakisoba. Everything was delicious and the quality was great. At around 1,000 yen per dish, the value is excellent for the area. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Harajuku!
