It started off great. We were having a ball and enchanted by the vibrant atmosphere. We asked for the menu and they pointed to the food in front of us...must be some sort of quaint Japanese custom we thought and didn't think much of it. The food was served with paddles and the biggest paddle came to the back of the head (figuratively) when the bill was brought to us. 2000 Australian dollars for the meal for 4 adults and 6 kids. At least my children learnt an important life lesson - ask for the price before you order and read Google reviews!
This is is food and entertainment all in one. Food is cooked/grilled in front of you and it is a feast to watch. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and for the more experienced travellers it may feel a bit OTT we thoroughly enjoyed the experience 😀
