Visiting from Singapore, and we were looking for this place after I watched him on Instagram. Especially for my elderly father who wanted some Indian food for dinner. Ended up having the vada upma with sambar. The sambar was superb! Got hot ginger drink served in traditional steelware. Really nice. Took away a chicken biryani and a vegetarian meal for my son and father. Both relished it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work! Will be going there again before we return and must also visit Shibuya to have their dosa.
I stopped by around 3pm on a Saturday, and the place was almost full. I ordered a curry platter where you can choose three different kinds of curry, and it came out in about five minutes. The butter chicken masala had a subtle honey-like sweetness and was absolutely delicious. The rice was turmeric rice, and you can get free refills, which was a nice bonus. Great meal—thank you!
This restaurant is in Yaesu underground mall attached to Tokyo station near exit 24. It’s a very tiny, unassuming place but served some pretty authentic-tasting Indian fare. Surprised that there was a short line when we showed up around 7:30pm, but understood why after having eaten there. The light veg thali was just the right portion for us. Service was efficient!
It is an very popular South Indian restaurant in Tokyo. It always has long queue. However, food is extremely fine tasting. Staffs are trying their best inspite of long queue.
