If there’s one Chinese person in your group then the staff will only talk to them even if you both speak the same language. Staff is helpful but annoying they pretend like only the Chinese customers exist. The dipping station or whatever is very small and unorganized so it’s crowded and annoying to get refills. Hot pot is okay but not very Sichuan style. Lots of good snacks.
Excellent food and service, got a lot of help from a friendly waiter that explained everything, and even made suggested dip sauces for me and my girlfriend according to our taste. Best meal in Japan (was Chinese) haha
We went for dinner on a weekday at around 17:30 and we didn’t hae to wait for a table. The food was amazing as usual and the performances were impressive! Service was super quick and attentive. They even provided a mini bed to put on the bench for our baby ❤️ When going to Haidilao be prepared for noise and lots going on. If you want a relaxed and chill experience, this is not the place.
Good hai di Lao. Seems to have a foreigner target. Probably because it's in Ueno. Service was excellent. The mask dance was fun. The multiple broths makes you spoilt for choice.
