Without question, one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had. I chose the 7-course Kobe Beef & Selected Wagyu Donabe Rice Experience Course, and every single course was exceptional. From the rich Kobe beef tendon soup and beautifully presented carpaccio to the perfectly simmered beef and incredibly fresh teppanyaki spiny lobster, each dish built beautifully towards the highlight of the evening. The 110g Kobe Beef Fillet was simply extraordinary—perfectly cooked, unbelievably tender, and genuinely melted in my mouth. I’ve eaten excellent steak around the world, but this was on another level. The final course of selected wagyu with salmon roe donabe rice was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. What made the evening even more special was the chefs. Watching them prepare each course with such precision and passion was like watching an artist at work. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and warm hospitality elevated the entire experience. The restaurant itself has an elegant, intimate atmosphere, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome and took pride in ensuring we had a memorable evening. If you’re visiting Kobe and want to experience authentic Kobe beef at its absolute best, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. It isn’t just a meal—it’s a culinary experience that you’ll remember long after you’ve left Japan. Worth every yen. 10/10. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know.
Excellent wagyu steak, excellent restaurant. Highly recommend. I had the wagyu beef sirloin steak, 300g. Was worth every penny. Its a memorable experience if you’re a foodie, melts in your mouth like butter. I watched as they cooked the set which was great fun and got some great video of the exciting flambé. The staff are amazing and friendly and helpful and because of them all of us guests made some fun memories together. #Wagyu #EmperorSteak
Wow! What an experience! Truely lovely group of people who went above and beyond to make our meal so special for us. The wagyu teppan yaki was incredible. It was entertaining, and delicious. The wagyu melted on your tongue, and was our favourite meal of our honeymoon trip in Japan. Thank you all again, we will definitely visit when we return to Shinjuku 🩷
We could not recommend this incredible teppanyaki experience more! Every bite of food was delicious and the Kobe Beef Wagyu melted in our beef. Our chef, Shun, was extremely talented, and our server/host Wonjun made us feel so welcome and helped us to understand everything perfectly. It really was dinner and a show and made our first night in Japan so exciting. Highly recommend!
We had an overall fantastic experience here. We discovered this restaurant on Google and decided to give it a try. Luckily, we were able to get a table without a reservation—but we definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get quite busy. From the starters all the way through to dessert, everything was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The photos and videos speak for themselves, but honestly, they’re just a bonus—the quality of the food truly exceeds expectations. Every dish was worth it. Definitely worth every yen(nie)!
