A very good Michelin restaurant, with incredibly tasty beef. The panda deserts are also made by hand and very good. Staff all speak Mandarin, Japanese and English. They are all very friendly and so was the manager. The restaurant itself is quite small so not many tables, and can get a bit smokey when the chefs are cooking.
We made reservations using Tablelog and dined at the resatuarant for New Year's Eve. Tablelog offered a few choices of set menus. We arrived ontime for our reservation and were seated promptly. However, no food came or someone ask to take our order after 20 min. We noticed two other tables seated after us getting their food. I let the host know we ordered with our reservation, which he must not have realized. After that, things went more smoothly. We were asked what we wanted to drink. Food came to our table and it was quite a feast. The beef was so tender and really delicious. All the dishes were tasty. The panda red bean buns for dessert were so cute! It was a lot of food for our little table. The host apologized for our small table, but the restaurant was very busy so he couldn't move us to a bigger table that could accomodate all the food in our meal. Although our reservation had a 90 minute limit, we were there for 2 hours and the host never rushed us to finish. We did end up refilling our water/tea on our own (we saw other guests do this) since the host and waitress were so busy. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor.
Randomly ended up at a Michelin guide restaurant and man, this was the best mandarin food I have had in a long long time. I ordered spicy beef set meal and got my food in 5 mins. Top notch service and excellent food. Definitely coming back for the braised beef
